MCABC applauds the BC Safety Authority’s new “Heads Up For
Safety” campaign (external

“Many people do not realize that plumbing and mechanical companies have certified gasfitters on their staff,” said Dana Taylor, MCABC’s Executive Vice President. ‘In fact, all certified plumbers in BC are required to have their ‘B’ Level Gas Certificate - the same level that the BC Safety Authority licenses. Plumbing and mechanical contractors should be used because it is their business to understand the entire gas and heating system in a building.”
MCABC member companies employ ceritifed tradespeople who are qualified to perform these repairs and understand complete systems. The general public can
contact MCABC, or visit the Members Directory to get a list of contractors in their area.
