Canada’s experienced employees are beginning to retire. The Construction Sector Council is conducting a survey to determine how organizations are coping with the expected workforce challenges resulting from these departures .

The purpose of the survey is to find out what employers are doing:
·         to develop policies and practices related to the aging workforce issue,
·         to retain older workers, and
·         to prepare appropriate workforce plans.

The submission deadline for the survey is Friday, March 5, 2010. For participating in the survey, you will receive a copy of the research report produced from this study, if you want it.

The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete. Unless otherwise directed, please answer the survey's questions from the perspective of the older trades people in your organization. The survey can be found here.
